Our approach...
Wedding photography is a truly unique art form. It requires the photographer to shoot in many different styles and countless lighting scenarios all within a limited and sometimes fast-paced time frame. Whether we're directing a 20 person bridal party in a dimly-lit church or we're photographing reception details 5 minutes before guests enter the ballroom - each part of the wedding day is unique and we approach it accordingly.
The Moments
Throughout the entire day we are always seeking to capture real-life moments - photographs that will forever transport our couples to the magic and feeling of the day every time they look back upon their photos. From the excitement of the bride as she steps into her wedding gown, to the joy of the couple's family and friends on the dance floor, our goal is to always have our cameras ready to capture those candid, priceless moments uninterrupted .

While we shoot a large portion of the day with a photojournalist approach, documenting events as they naturally unfold, there are other parts of the day where our direction and guidance is necessary for creating the editorial-inspired imagery seen throughout our portfolio. Organic movement, natural light and aesthetically pleasing backgrounds are just a few of the things we take into account when composing beautiful and timeless wedding portraits. These elements rarely all line up perfectly on their own so it is our job to bring it all together and guide our couples while still producing uncontrived, true-to-life photos.
We understand that for many couples this may be their first time in front of the camera. Our goal is to make our couples feel comfortable and most importantly enjoy their time with us and each other while we create stunning images together.
The Portraits
Light plays a leading role in our approach to weddings. We are always searching for the most ideal light in each setting we find ourselves in. Sometimes we find it in obvious places, but oftentimes it's waiting to be found in unexpected places like the corner of a hotel room or reflecting off a plain white wall. Beautiful light can make a flat image come to life and draw you in to an otherwise ordinary photo. It is the secret ingredient to capturing elevated, luminous wedding photos.
While our signature look is soft, naturally lit photos, we are fully confident and prepared to shoot in any lighting scenario. Additionally, we prefer to partner closely with the wedding planner to create a timeline that optimizes our time shooting in natural light.
The Light
Our intention with every wedding we photograph is to tell a cohesive and complete story of the wedding day. From the makeup chair to the dance floor and everything in between we want our couples to remember every part of their special day, including the details. So much time, thought, and love goes into planning a wedding and making it a memorable experience for their guests. It is important for us to capture not only the moments and portraits but all the thoughtful elements that make each couples wedding meaningful and a true reflection of who they are. We want to paint the full picture with details big and small for our couples to remember forever.
The Story
A key component of our approach to weddings is capturing the couple's family throughout the day. We understand that marriage is not only two people coming together, but the merging of two families and honoring all that has brought them to this point in their lives. It is important for us to capture beautiful, timeless portraits that withstand the test of time with the people that have played such an impactful role in their lives. We carve out time in each wedding timeline for family portraits with the intention that they will be passed down through generations. Furthermore, we continue to document their palpable happiness throughout the day. So much joy surrounds the couple on their wedding day and we are passionate about capturing all of the love and emotion for them to look back upon for a lifetime.

do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We are based in Miami, but will travel anywhere in the world. Nothing excites us more than shooting in new and beautiful destinations.
Do you offer videography?
We do not offer videography services, but we are happy to share a list of some of the filmmakers we work with frequently.

Our full-service collections begin at $7,500, however we understand that every wedding is different therefore we quote every wedding individually.
ARE YOU VACCINATED for COVID-19?
Yes, both Katie and Cito are vaccinated.
Do you shoot anything other than weddings?
Yes! From family sessions to fashion editorials we shoot all kinds of projects. Personal or professional. We'd love to hear about your vision!
